To visit one of our household waste recycling centres you must book a slot in advance. We are still limiting slots to observe the government's rules on social distancing. Following their guidelines announced on 4 July, we changed our booking process.

All waste and recycling must be pre-sorted before arrival at the site. E.g. plasterboard, garden waste, cardboard, plastics, metals etc. We appreciate that you may be frustrated by the new systems in place at our household waste and recycling centres (HWRCs), but we ask for your patience as they’re in place for everyone’s safety.
Once you have a confirmed booking, you must follow our site. Visits to recycling centres are currently limited to 12 per household, per year.

It is an offence to attempt to recycle commercial waste at these centres. This morning, the online booking system for Raynesway Household Waste Recycle Centre (HWRC) has gone live and residents can now book their time slot for essential visits to the site.
The minute time slots are available from this Saturday (16th May) and can be booked up to .Merseyside residents who wish to deposit their household waste at one of the region’s Household Waste Recycling Centres using a van or large trailer can do so as from Monday 13th July (with the exception of Rainhill).
